SITE PURPOSE:
This website was created by a first year student and prospective International Relations major at Mount Holyoke College. This was a final assignment for Vincent Ferraro's introductory World Politics course. It was created for the purpose of analyzing the relationship between cell phone use and the reduction of poverty. My hope is to contribute to the discussion of the topic and provide a resource for those interested. I am intrigued by alternative methods to fighting poverty and feel that this particular topic asserts the need for us to reassess both our current strategy of aiding developing nations and reflect on our use of technology. Research of this particular topic has certainly helped me establish a passion of my own. Thank you for visiting my website!
